Barcada, a vibrant fusion of bar, arcade and sports, will open in Butuan City, Philippines, on May 3.
The new arcade bar will feature a range of games, including basketball shooters, a boxing game, racing games and darts. Local DJs will perform at the entertainment venue’s grand opening, as well as guest DJ Nishhh.
In a social media post the new venue said: “A part of our advocacy in the launching of the first-ever premier bar and arcade in Butuan is by empowering our local Butuanon music enthusiasts, and part of this is by providing a platform for our local DJs to thrive in, as well as inviting startup local food stalls to establish a top-notch experience in the entertainment experience of every Butuanon.
“Barcada is aiming to provide a fresh and vibrant community across all ages, and we know for sure that a part of that is ensuring safety and the spirit of friendship. So, we can't wait to hammer up a circle of barcadistas to fill in our colourful community of young and happy Butuanons at our bar.”
Guests who choose to attend the grand opening can purchase general or VIP admission. General tickets entitle visitors to one cup of beer, while the VIP tickets come with two free tokens for the games.
