Pelican Group signs with Carmike and First Group

US amusement and vending firm The Pelican Group has signed a long-term agreement with Carmike Cinemas and First Group America.

The company will manage all amusements and bulk vending in all Carmike cinemas throughout the US and provide long-term security for Pelican’s amusement partners which operate in every Carmike location.

Pelican vice president Sean Hanna commented: "The Carmike account presents Pelican’s operators with a unique opportunity to improve the amusement platform formerly in place.

"When analysing the account we discovered a number of opportunities for operators to capitalise on, to improve revenues."

Additionally, under the First Group America deal, Pelican will manage all vending in over 750 First Group, First Transit and First Student locations throughout the US.
