As the Japanese industry's operators met today for the annual AOU trade show in Tokyo's Makuhari Messe exhibition centre, the industry's suppliers were also meeting to discuss methods of improving the sales of Japanese games manufacturers in the international market.
The manufacturers’ association, JAMMA, has its overseas division, which hosted a Conference of Asian Operation Acceleration today during the first day of the AOU show. The objectives of the discussions were threefold: the methods by which manufacturers could achieve low-cost production, the presentation of Japanese products at an Asian amusement show and the expansion of sales in the Asian region.
