Roberto Boretazz of Italian manufacturer, Roberto Sport, mirrored the comments made my numerous ATEI exhibitors over the past few weeks.
He said: "This year was the 10th time we had exhibited at the show, which still has the reputation of being one of the most prestigious in the field of the coin mechanism served machines.
"However, our feelings about the show is not completely positive, it seems that this event is loosing that shining appeal and we got the feeling of a remarkable reduction of foreign customers, with special regard to buyers from the Middle East, Japan and the US.
"I believe that this might be partially down to the current strong rate of the Euro against the US Dollar, however this year’s show was not successful for us despite its incredibly high running costs."
