Former Northern Leisure employees Gareth Jones and Sean Tweed, who were production manager and bodyshop supervisor respectively, have become the latest members of the MH Leisure team.

MH Leisure has operated coin-op equipment for over 15 years. Jones and Tweed, both fully qualified paint and bodywork technicians, have over 41 years of experience between them, working at Kiddy Rides for their entirety. Jones was also the company’s ride designer, responsible for such rides as the Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol ranges, before its unfortunate closure in February this year, due to the struggles created by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The pair now enable MH Leisure to offer repair, refurbishment, restoration, custom design, build and more to others within the industry.

“It’s great to have them on board,” said MH Leisure’s director Mike Harrison. “Having Gareth and Sean has allowed us to expand on the diversity of services we’re able to offer to other operators and customers. We believe we can help fill the gap within the kiddie ride industry, which has been left by the closure of Northern Leisure."
