The Gauselmann Group’s Merkur International has opened a new Palms Merkur Casino in Varna, Bulgaria.
This brings its number of Palms Merkur Casinos – a joint venture with Bulgarian manufacturer Casino Technology – to four.
“With Casino Technology we have a strong partner at our side, which is most familiar with the coin-op industry in Bulgaria,” said Rolf Falke, management spokesman at Merkur International. “This will create significant synergies.”
The new 500sq.m facility covers three floors and includes 44 slot machines, eight roulette stations and a number of jackpot systems. In this arcade, both Merkur Gaming and Casino Technology machines are available to play.
