The new president of BACTA, the UK amusements trade association, is Greg Wood of Essex Leisure, following elections at the organisation’s National Council meeting on Wednesday.

He replaces James Miller, who has stepped down at the end of his term of office, together with other outgoing officers, Neil Finch and Quentin Stott.
Vice-president is Trevor Sutton of Namco, treasure Chris Haley of Dransfields, and divisional chairmen Joseph Cullis of Cullis’s Amusements (Division 1), Peter Davies of Inspired (Division 2), Steve Ambrose of Praesepe (Division 3) and Tony Boulton of Gauselmann (Division 4). Their respective vice-chairmen are Jeremy Godden of Rotunda, Matt Bicknell of Regal, Richard Case of Case Concepts and Jonathan Lauder of UDC.
