The entertainment venue is being operated by François Smal and his team, who already operate another centre in nearby Verlaine.

A BattleKart spokesperson said: “Belgium is where it all began. It’s here that BattleKart was born, where the first players took the wheel, and where our tracks lit up for the very first time. Today, we’re proud to write a new chapter in this adventure with the opening of our 11th Belgian centre in Malmedy.”

The mixed reality go-karting experience allows guests to race around indoor spaces on dynamic and changing tracks that are projected onto the ground.

BattleKart offers a variety of game modes, including BattleRace, BattleSnake and BattlePool, which all offer guests different ways to enjoy the experience.
