A new factory was opened this week for Britain’s Reflex Gaming, the manufacturer of Category C (AWP) machines.
The opening, at Newark, Nottinghamshire, England, was on Tuesday and was attended by the local Member of Parliament, Robert Jenrick and many customers and local businessmen, plus representatives of the trade association, BACTA.
The 11-year-old company, run by Quentin Stott, had previously been operating out of three separate premises in the town, but continued growth over the past three years enabled it to consolidate its plant into one 28,000 square foot factory on Bowbridge Road in Newark.
The company has been short-listed for the 2015 Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100, which monitors the fastest-growing privately-owned technologies companies in the UK. Reflex has 45 full-time and 26 temporary staff.
“The new factory is a significant milestone for our company and will enable us to further invest in R&D and new business opportunities, whilst maintaining our commitment to the local area” said Quentin Stott.
