Sports and entertainment provider Topgolf is planning to introduce new venues to the Californian cities of Ontario and El Segundo.
These two venues, both slated to begin development in February and open in 2022, will bring the number of such venues in California to four.
Topgolf Ontario will be situated on nearly 14 acres of undeveloped land in San Bernardino County. The new three-level venue will feature 102 hitting bays, a full-service restaurant and bar and event space for corporate and social events. The company also plans to add a mini-golf experience after the initial venue opening.
The El Segundo location will be sited along the Pacific Coast Highway as part of The Lakes at El Segundo nine-hole municipal golf course. The venue will offer both Topgolf's signature offering and a traditional green grass golf course. As part of the experience, the company plans to renovate the golf course with night lighting and enhance the pro shop and clubhouse.
