Australia’s best-known event for the amusement industry, the AHG Expo, held at Brisbane, March 27-28, now has the official endorsement of the National Amusement Machine Organisation Australia behind it.

The show, to be held in the Brisbane Convention Centre (Queensland), is principally for the gaming industry, but has a strong amusement element to it.
NAMOA is to be a partner sponsor for the event. Said the organisation’s president Tony Argery: “The objective is to support and promote Australian distributors and also manufacturers from the rest of the world, to the hotel, club and restaurant market here.”
Among the amusement exhibitors will be Zax Amusements, AMD and Cashflow Games, who are combining to provide new machines on free play in a large lounge area. This will have a media wall and a giant ‘blower machine’ in which club managers can try to grab discount tickets or prize awards.
NAMOA has invited non-Australian suppliers to send machines (not less than two years old) to be positioned in the lounge area. Contact: [email protected]
