Proposals for a new mini-golf course near Windermere in the UK’s Lake District have been submitted.

Choices Health Clubs has submitted a planning application to the Lake District National Park for an 18-hole adventure golf course at its existing facility in Troutbeck Bridge, near Windermere, reports the Westmorland Gazette.
The golf course will have a woodland Lake District theme with dry stone walls and characters.
Nine holes will be designed to be wheelchair accessible.
Duncan Forster, the managing director of the club, told the Westmorland Gazette: “This project is a key part of our long term vision for our Lake District site. We love the Lakes and plan to continually invest in the site, turning it into an all round leisure attraction with an affordable yet high end gym at it’s core.
"We had a plot of land at the site and tasked ourselves with using it to benefit the local community and visitors to the Lakes, and this seemed like the perfect solution.”
