Only a few weeks after opening a modern entertainment centre under the Merkur Casino brand in Pitesti, Romania, the subsidiary of the Gauselmann Group has announced further progress in its expansion strategy.

A new Merkur Casino, with a gaming surface of 580sq.m and two electronic roulette tables for eight players each and another 50 ultramodern casino products, is set to open in Bacau in the north-east of Romania, near the border with Moldova. It will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
