Merkur UK, the British subsidiary of Germany’s Gauselmann Group, continues its expansion with another new Merkur Slots venue, this time at Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.
The adult gaming centre opened in the town’s Market Place last weekend, creating 10 local jobs. It is all part of the company’s £5m investment programme for new venues in UK high streets over the next 12 months.
The location is a former AGE UK charity shop and is not the first venue for the company in the town; the other is in a former Hughes electrical store nearby.
