David Mandt has been promoted to executive vice president and chief engagement officer at trade association IAAPA.
It is a new position to work closely with members and to take care of marketing, communications and education.
Mandt has been made senior vice president of marketing and communications.
Hal McEvoy, president and CEO, said: “We knew he was the right person to support the association’s strategic plan while leading all governance and legal affairs along with membership and marketing teams. He has vast industry knowledge and experience, relationships with members around the world, and proven leadership skills.”
Mandt was previously with Paramount Carowinds theme park in North Carolina.
