Bucharest, the capital and largest city in Romania, now has a new indoor FEC, Zorky’s Planet, in the Cotroceni Mall.

The location, together with another Bucharest FEC, Magic City, is owned by Romanian company Britta Trading.

Zorky’s Planet covers 2,000sq.m and contains around 50 games and some rides, including a roller coaster as its highlight. The coaster is unique in that it penetrates the walls of the FEC and out into the mall itself. It is the largest indoor roller coaster in eastern Europe in the public area of a shopping mall.

The location is tied together with an Intercard system, as is Magic City, using a centralised database and wireless network connection to all of the latest iReaders.

Now Britta plans a rapid expansion programme in the eastern European region.
