Ardent Leisure’s family entertainment centre business Main Event Entertainment is opening the first of two locations in the US state of Georgia on June 25.
The company’s new FEC in the Atlanta-area suburb of Alpharetta is a 65,000sq.ft facility featuring bowling, laser tag, gravity ropes, billiards and more than 100 interactive, virtual and video games.
The new centre is the first of seven the company is planning to open across the US over the next year, with a second location due to open in Atlanta as part of this expansion. Main Event presently operates locations throughout Texas and recently opened its first FEC in Arizona.
Following its move into Georgia, the company aims to open FECs in Illinois, Oklahoma and a further two locations in Texas.
“Our national expansion is bringing fun to locations across America,” said CEO Charlie Keegan. “We’re excited about continuing this momentum and opening the first of two new centres in the state of Georgia. We’re looking forward to celebrating with the community of Alpharetta next week.”
