A Hollywood Bowl in Swindon, UK, will open this Saturday, November 23, the company announced on the internet on Monday.
The new location has 22 lanes of bowling, a diner and bar, an arcade and pool tables. It is situated on the Greenbridge Retail and Leisure Park.
The group has 72 venues across the UK, all with at least 14 lanes of bowling, housed in what was at one time a PC World store.
The location will come as a welcome boost to the leisure park, as it has seen some high-profile departures recently, including the closing of the Empire Cinema and the Frankie and Benny’s restaurant.
However, another cinema group, Vue, is likely to take over the old cinema premises.
At the new Swindon venue three local bowling enthusiasts will become "directors of fun", appointed by the venue after trials with the bowling lanes and the food and beverages.
They will get a year of complimentary VIP bowling as part of their brief to ensure that everyone enjoys their visit to the location.
