Keynote speaker Anne Marie Caulfield, CEO of the new National Gambling Regulator, is not now able to attend.

This is because of  “an imminent and significant” announcement by the Minister for Justice on new gambling regulations.

Show organiser Susan Feery said: “They are sending an introductory video and presentatioon whcih will be delivered on their behalf at the show.

“This is an excellent opportunity for all of us to get an early look at the regulator’s prioorities for the Irish market.”

Feery said that her organisation would be planning an event in the coming months where the regulator will formally introduce themselves and address questions personally.
