A former Debenhams department store at Milton Keynes in the UK has been given new life as a family entertainment centre.

The store closed its doors in 2020. Now Lane 7 has opened a 40,000sq.ft. tenpin bowling centre, roller skating rink, golf simulator, bumper cars and amusements venue.
Lane 7 is only one of a number of entrepreneurial businesses that recognise the potential of these once-thriving retail hubs.
The company’s Luke Harvey has gone on record in local media as suggesting a change in the attitude of customers. “The culture has changed. People now want something different from their nights out.
"Tastes have shifted from the drinking culture, especially among the 18-24 age group. They want fun and something that they can do with a range of different friends and family.”
