Kwikpay has introduced a cashless system that allows customers to pay directly from their mobile phone without the use of apps or card readers.
The Kwikpay system allows the customer to scan the QR code directly from their camera, which initiates the payment from their stored Apple Pay or Google Pay wallet, or by card.
The plug-and-play Kwikpay device can convert existing cash operated machines into fully digital machines, and offers promotions, flexible pricing and loyalty. Operators can continue to accept cash/coins as an option on their machines.
It comes with advanced cash management and telemetry system capabilities, with the data provided enabling operators to keep track of the cash collected within the machines, remotely from a dashboard.
"The pandemic has shown us the importance of cashless payments, and card based payments have become an integral part of the new normal," the company said. "As customers start to return to their favourite amusement machines and arcades, offering them cashless payment is now more important than ever before."
