Following the success of its first karting centre in Ohio, US, global indoor kart racing brand K1 Speed has opened a second location in the state.

The new venue is in Hilliard, near Columbus, offering local racers the opportunity to reach speeds of up to 45mph, as they navigate tight hairpin turns as well as elevation changes on the challenging track.
K1 Speed Columbus offers the Arrive and Drive experience to its guests, which allows them to race against members of their party or group, while competing for the fastest lap.
K1 Speed’s co-owner and director of marketing Susan Danglard said: “We're excited to bring a second location to Ohio.
“Our Canton location has been a big success, producing many strong kart racers. So, we can't wait to discover more talent from this great state.”
Guests can also choose to take part in the monthly Challenge GP league, which allows racers to compete for on-track position and points, with the top three points finishers at the end of the year qualifying for the K1 Speed E-World Championship.
The new location also has private event rooms for parties and events as well as a café and an arcade for guests to enjoy while off-track.
