Sad news has reached InterGame that Jim Casey, amusement industry veteran and entrepreneur, died in hospital on Monday, aged 80.

Jim, who was an innovator in the amusement games and gaming devices business in the UK for many years, had been ill for some time.
He was a very familiar figure at trade shows in the UK and Ireland in the past few years, together with his wife, Anne.
Jim’s main business concern for much of his years in the industry was with Gayton Games, which was based in Northampton.
In the heyday of the video games business, in 1981, he brought out the successful Munchyman game, a Pac-Man-type strategy game.
Others from the same era were Space Echo and Invasion Army.
His last years were spent in Ireland, but Jim still came up with ideas for new games and was a constant visitor to the London shows.
Jim is to be cremated at a private ceremony on Friday, May 12, in Ireland. A separate memorial service will be organised in a few weeks' time.
