Japanese arcade brand Taito Corporation has opened its first franchised outlet in Hong Kong.

Located at the Tsuen Wan mall, the new 3,500sq.ft arcade will feature more than 40 crane machines with prizes featuring characters from popular animation and video games.
The company is currently celebrating its 70th anniversary and its general manager of franchise and entertainment rental business division, Hiroshi Kunimatsu, told chindadailyasia.com that Hong Kong was an attractive market with growth potential due to local customers with spending power.
Taito has 158 amusement outlets in Japan, but the new location will be its first in Hong Kong and its first outside of its homeland in more than a decade.
