Finalised last month, the deal marks iPlay’s third location in Toowoomba and adds to its growing portfolio of more than 25 FECs across the country.

Sunset Superbowl’s new owner says that the venue will retain its existing bowling experience, but it plans to add a number of arcade games, claw machines and redemption prizes, along with an upgraded party offering.

“Sunset Superbowl is an excellent strategic fit,” said Adriano Franchi, chief marketing and sales officer and iPlay Australia. “It’s a well-established venue will deep community roots, and we’re proud to bring it into the iPlay family. Our goal is to preserve what locals love while adding layers of entertainment that only iPlay can deliver.

The company’s managing director, John Sophios, revealed that it expected to continue its expansion across the coming months. He said: “With more acquisitions and new builds on the horizon, we’re on a path of sustained, strategic growth. Sunset Superbowl reflects our ongoing commitment to deliver accessible, high-energy entertainment in both metro and regional communities.”
