One of the industry’s best-known suppliers of amusement and redemption games, Innovative Concepts in Entertainment (ICE), has appointed Zax Amusements of Australia as its new exclusive distributor for the country.
The only exception to that is the LAI Group, which operates many FECs across Australia, south-east Asia and India and which has been an ICE customer for over 25 years.
Zak Athanasiadis, CEO at Zax, said Joe Coppola, vice president of sales at ICE, “is a consummate professional and well respected in the Australian market.” Coppola said that the deal would enable ICE to maximise its presence in Australia.
ICE president Ralph Coppola, said that Australia had been a good market for the company since the mid-80s. He paid tribute to Malcolm Steinberg of LAI as the company’s first Australian distributor and helped established ICE there many years ago.
