IB Parks and Entertainment, the operator behind a number of amusement and water parks in the US, has announced its Big Kahuna’s water park in West Berlin, New Jersey, will return to the Sahara Sam’s Oasis name.

The company says that the decision to return to the name reflects the park’s history and that as part of the transformation it will be improving the guest experience, offering more affordable food options and enhancing the park’s features.
The company has also launched a new membership programme that gives guests unlimited access to both Sahara Sam’s Oasis and Clementon Park and Splash World for US$6.99 a month, allowing guests access to the attractions year-round.
Gene Staples, CEO of IB Parks and Entertainment, said: “We are beyond excited to bring back the Sahara Sam's Oasis name, a brand that holds so many cherished memories for our guests.
“This change is not just about a name — it's about embracing our history, elevating the guest experience and strengthening our connection with the families who have supported us over the years. With the addition of our membership programme, we're making it easier than ever for guests to create lasting memories all year long.”
