The third annual IAAPA 5k Fun Run and 1k Walk to benefit Give Kids The World will be held on Thursday, November 19, from 7.30am to 9am during IAAPA Attractions Expo 2009 in Las Vegas.
GKTW Village is a 70-acre, international non-profit resort based in central Florida that creates magical memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
The run will take place at Pecos Legacy Park in Henderson, Nevada, a 20-minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip with buses departing from the Wynn Hotel and Casino at 6.45am.
The event, which attracted a record 150 participants last year, will generate proceeds for GKTW through participation or outside donations.
Registration is $25 for participants who register by November 6 and $30 after that. Interested parties can register online at www.iaapa.org/expos/attractions/funrun.asp.
