Free-roam virtual reality provider Hero Zone has added a new escape game to its lineup.

Hero Zone

Wayfinders: Escape From Aurora is a sci-fi adventure that takes players to the heart of a space station on the brink of destruction after being struck by asteroids. During the game, players must navigate through the station to save crew before time runs out, solving puzzles and working as a team.

The new game will debut at Amusement Expo International in Las Vegas, Nevada, US, next week.

Also on show will be a new flexible, mobile set-up for amusement operators.

Hero Zone Mobile will allow operators to set up VR in spaces ranging from 225sq.ft to 600sq.ft. The solution can be set up in around ten minutes, meaning that it can be used in a fixed space or taken to pop up events.

Hero Zone sales director Aziza Jarnija said: “Hero Zone recognises that there all kinds of amusement business operators with varied business needs, so we keep coming up with additional hardware configurations to meet our customers where they are and where they are going.

“We also want to be sure to have a range of VR games that guests will love, from escape games and zombie shooters to player versus player competitive titles and collaborative games.”
