Pressure is mounting on the Greek Government to follow the instructions of the European Court to lift its ban on most forms of amusement and gaming machines.
The ruling, passed at the end of last year, has thrown the Greeks into some confusion, but the industry is pressing for the preparation of new regulations which will conform with the European ruling.
The delays, we understand, stem from doubts within the Greek Government over which department should take responsibility for framing new regulations.
Previously, matters concerning games and gaming were handled by the Finance Ministry.
