Player One Amusement Group has been sold to Genda, the international amusement company behind GiGO arcades and a host of other entertainment companies.

Based in Toronto, Canada, the distributor was acquired by OpenGate Capital last year through a corporate carve out. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in Q3 of this year.

Genda is a worldwide entertainment company that operates a range of amusement, karaoke and merchandising locations. It operates approximately 800 amusement arcades, as well as 11,000 non-staffed gaming locations.
