Figures show that UK operator Gamestec's new Gaming Option 4 terminals are raising average takings for independent betting offices by over 20 per cent compared with fixed odds betting terminals.
The terminals are based on a mix of the Gambling Commission’s new category B2 and B3 £500 jackpot games designed for the betting office market.
The slim, casino-style chrome and steel cabinet incorporates twin 19ins flat screen technology.
Adrian Ah-Chin-Kow, commercial director at Gamestec, said: "The multigame platform not only offers a wide range of B2 and B3 offerings, but also delivers real-time management reporting to reduce terminal downtime and increase takings.
"We are planning to deliver a constant stream of new games with only the best making it on to the terminal. Games already on offer include the B3 version of Deal Or No Deal, the most successful branded product since Monopoly."
