Admiral Taverns, one of the UK's largest independent tenanted and leased pub operators, has signed a new contract to extend the number of gaming machines in its pubs managed by Gamestec in a deal worth £5.2m.
The new contract has resulted in Gamestec becoming responsible for a third of Admiral Taverns’ total estate of Category C machines. Prior to the deal, the company was responsible for approximately one quarter of Admiral’s Category C estate.
Adding other products, which Gamestec manages on behalf of Admiral, the deal raises the total volume of machines to 1,500 machines equalling around 31 per cent of its total estate.
Stuart Ross, group managing director for Gamestec, said: "This deal strengthens our commitment to Admiral Taverns and the pub trade as a whole.
"Licensed premises are the bedrock for the gaming industry and it is important we work together in partnership with companies like Admiral to ensure we deliver the best service for pubs and the individuals who play our machines."
