Gamegrid, based in Bournemouth, UK, and operator of amusement arcades at 14 sites around the UK and France including motorway service stations, airports and the Channel Tunnel, has gone into liquidation.
The operator, which currently employs 40 people, has a variety of games at a number of potentially lucrative sites, according to Sue Staunton of Thames Valley accountants and business advisers James Cowper, which has been appointed as administrator.
"We have managed to sell three sites already at Gatwick airport, Leeds Bradford airport and Birmingham airport and will be trying to find possible buyers for the other sites over the next week or so," said Staunton.
