A mini-golf course which is free to play has been opened in the Breckenridge municipality of Colorado.

The new mini-golf course was installed by property management company Breckenridge HOA, with the goal of increasing footfall in downtown Breckenridge.
Village at Breckenridge member, Michelle Tuxhorn, said to Summit Daily of the project: “Ultimately, the goal was just to get some foot traffic back to the village. This benefited not only the commercial businesses, but it also benefits our residents and our guests while they’re here on property.
“It feels exciting, it’s interesting to be able to provide one other little fun destination for people in town,” she added.
Clubs are available within adjacent sweet shop Rocket Fizz, with nearby owners confident that the course will increase custom on their own premises.
"I hope it brings us a lot more business,” said Rocket Fizz owner, Nicole Ransberger. “It’s fun. You don’t necessarily need skills, and a group of people can do it, not just an individual."
