Five Iron Golf has announced two new flagship locations in New York City and Cleveland, Ohio, US.

The company will open a new Flatiron venue in New York in 2026, while its first family entertainment centre concept will open in Shaker Heights, Ohio, later this year.

Its new FEC concept will mark an evolution for the brand. It will combine Five Iron’s signature golf simulators with 18 holes of mini-golf, with holes located both indoors and outdoors. There will also be duckpin bowling lanes, which the company has installed in two of its other venues in Detroit, Michigan and Seattle, Washington.

Nora Dunnan, cofounder and chief development officer of Five Iron Golf, said: “We’re incredibly excited about Shaker Heights. This location brings together some of our favourite concepts under one roof and will serve as a true hub for golf and entertainment in the suburbs. We’ve loved becoming part of the Cleveland community, and with two unique but complementary locations, we’re just getting started.”

Flat Iron’s journey began in New York, with a four-simulator setup that kick-started the company’s expansion. Now, it is moving to a larger venue, with 50 per cent more room. The new location will include 13 Trackman simulators, enhanced locker rooms, lounge areas and a new F&B offering.

Jared Solomon, co-founder and CEO of Five Iron Golf, said: “It’s bittersweet to move from our first location - and our namesake. The ‘Five’ in Five Iron was a nod to 5th Avenue, and no, we’re not changing our name to Six Iron. But this brand-new, much larger space is exactly what this part of Manhattan deserves. We chose Flatiron for our first-ever location for a reason - and we still believe it’s the perfect neighbourhood for a flagship.”
