There is now a feather in the cap for the F1 Arcade in the UK city of Birmingham.
It took the prize at the ninth Annual Birmingham Awards for its Octane Bar, which boasts a full-sized Formula 1 car suspended from the ceiling.
The location was named Bar of the Year. It opened a year ago as the second UK venue for the brand. The Birmingham arcade is in Paradise Square in the city.
The Octane Bar won the prize not just for the suspended F1 car, but also for its ultra-modern back-lighting effects that span the centre of the bar.
The Birmingham Awards are dedicated to "showcasing the talent, dedication and heroes that make Birmingham a remarkable place to live, work and thrive," with a mission to recognise excellence across various sectors.
F1 Arcade has 53 bespoke full-motion simulators of racing cars, designed by a leading technology company in conjunction with F1.
