One of the best-known personalities in the Dutch AWP industry, Jan Froon, died after a long illness on January 13.
News of Jan’s death did not circulate the industry until the London show, principally because Jan had been ill for some time and out of the industry.
However, Jan, who was in his 60s, had nearly 40 years’ experience of the business, working with a number of leading Dutch and international AWP producing companies, including JvH, Janshen and Hahnraths, Eurocoin and the Spanish Cirsa company.
