A pair of friends from New Zealand are set to open a mini-golf course in their hometown featuring an unusual theme.

Lucas Devotion and Rhys Burkitt have built Fillin’ Holes, a mini-golf course themed around construction in Christchurch.
Thepress.co.nz reports that the pair were inspired by the people who have rebuilt the city after it was largely destroyed in the 2011 earthquake which killed 185 people.
The pair of friends quit their retail jobs and set about clearing the site of years of rubbish. Both owners have been hands on, crafting some of the holes themselves.
One of the holes will feature a crane that the pair say will offer plenty of interaction and challenge even the best mini-golf player.
Fillin’ Holes is set to open mid-April.
