Kids FEC chain Chuck E. Cheese has partnered with HappyNest Entertainment, a Hollywood animation studio, to produce a Christmas special featuring its famous characters.
The special will be written and produced by Zac Moncrief and Jon Colton Barry, who are the pair behind Phineas & Ferb and Be Cool Scooby-Doo! Oscar nominated character designer and animator Bobby Pontillas, best known for Moana, Big Hero 6 and Zootopia will also be working on the film.
The voice cast includes Nathan Kress of iCarly, who will voice the titular role of Chuck E. Cheese, Grey Griffin and Nolan North.

“We’re entering the entertainment arena in a way that builds on our nostalgic legacy while charting a new future for our characters as a storytelling franchise.”
