Copiers beware: complaints at the Dubai DEAL show last week led to brochures and machines being taken off the stand of Chinese manufacturer Zhongshan Guangyang Amusement Equipment Company by the organisers.
The complaints had come from other exhibitors, who alleged copyright infringement by the Chinese company.
One of the biggest exhibitors at the show, ICE of the US, was very critical. Gene Brogowski, director of international sales for the company, told InterGame: "I am sick of Chinese copiers. We won’t be exhibiting at shows in Asia because of their activities."
