The popular Cash Recycler product from cash handling expert GeWeTe has been upgraded to accommodate card readers.
The move has been made as, according to the company, more and more customers are looking for a total solution with a wide range of features. The readers accept cards with mag stripe, chip and pin and barcodes, allowing applications like sports betting and membership accounts to be handled within the same cabinet. The Cash Recycler is a high security cabinet with features that include banknote to coin/banknote out, bulk coin in for banknotes out, tickets in for banknote and coins out, and dedicated membership systems. For increased security on sites, especially in 24/7 adult gaming centres, the product offers an account facility where staff, via a dedicated PIN protected card, can withdraw money for hand pays/refills or floats, avoiding the need to go into a back office or open safes.
