The operator will add exciting new attractions to its existing fleet, as well as any new ships, from now until 2029.

As one of the largest providers of cruises to the family market, its Carnival Festivale ship is set to feature an outdoor zone on its top three decks, named Sunstation Point. The space will include Carnival Waterworks Ultra, a family-friendly water park featuring six slides, including two family raft slides. Two splash pads will also welcome guests as little as three feet tall.

Elsewhere, the ship will include a ropes course and a new mini-golf course. An arcade featuring a selection of the latest games will also be located on the ship.

Carnival’s president, Christine Duffy, said: “Since our inception in 1972, we have defined and led the modern cruise industry and our plans for the next five years and beyond are no different.”
