UK holiday camp group Butlin's has opened a new £15m indoor activity centre at its Bognor Regis location and this week the public got its first look at the new venture.

PlayXperience contains two levels of energetic fun, from laser tag, a 27-hole, three-course TechPutt mini-golf, a VR-cade and four family escape rooms.

Company CEO Jon Pickup said that PlayXperience is based upon considerable research that shows that 78 per cent of Britons embrace their competitive side when playing games with family and friends.

The opening saw celebrity father and son guests Jeff and Freddy Brazier, from TV’s Race Across the World, enjoying the games that included shuffleboard. The 50,000sq.ft of space also includes Glow Pong, a batting cage, a Neo Games video wall, Digi Darts and F&B.
