A new US$8m entertainment centre has opened in Richmond, Virginia.

RVA Virginia

The Park at RVA, located in the Diamond District will include bowling, mini-golf and a food court with six different dining options.

Set over an area of 55,000sq.ft, it opened to the public in late November after a large investment from father and son team Michael and Basim Mansour.

The venue says it wants to transport people to another place when they enter its doors.

Entertainment options on offer include 18 lanes of duckpin bowling and an 18-hole Wonderball mini-golf course. There are also three virtual golf bays, a karaoke room and large televisions for broadcasting sports games. An on-site comedy club is also slated to open by next summer.

Local artists have decorated the venue in murals and managing partner Orcun Turkay told Richmond.com that the venue was designed to cater to guests from all walks of life.
