Embed’s cashless payment and ticketing solution has been installed by Bandai Namco Amusement Europe into 12 of the locations of major UK operator Park Holidays.

Park Holidays has 54 resorts in the UK, offering caravan, lodges and glamping breaks and a dozen of them now have games rooms and equipment carrying the Embed system. More locations will come on stream with Embed by the end of the third quarter of this year.
BNAE’s general manager of management solutions, Steve Short, said: “We know how powerful and flexible the Embed solutions are and this has been reflected in the performance since going live.”
Park Holidays said that it had observed an uptick in the number of guests engaging with the entertainment offering as well as longer play and dwell times and reported increased satisfaction due to the simplicity of the payment process.
Its head of arcades, Ben Porter, commented: “The positive response following our cashless launch has been significant and demonstrates the revenue potential of Embed technology.
"The future of entertainment and gaming is ever-changing and as one of the UK’s leading holiday park operators it is important that we keep pace with those changes, not just in the games and amusements we offer but also in how we offer them. “As the country and our industry move more towards a cashless society, we find the evolution to alternative payment and play options increasingly important. Bandai Namco and its Embed system have been a huge support of this evolution, which is being well received by our guests.”
