Taroko Sports, a Taiwan-based entertainment group, has opened its first US entertainment venue, a baseball arcade, in Houston, Texas.

The new arcade held a soft opening on March 18 and is gearing up for its grand opening this week on March 28.
20,000sq.ft of former retail space has been converted into a baseball arcade featuring activities from America’s favourite pastime, including 10 batting cages, pitching mounds and a HitTrax swing suite.
Taroko Sports also houses more varied entertainment options for guests, such as miniature bowling, electronic darts and an arcade housing both retro favourites and 5D simulators.
The entertainment centre in Houston is the company’s first in the US with two further locations already under construction in the Phoenix area. It currently operates six different concepts in Taiwan, Japan and China.
Guests will be able to pick up a variety of F&B, with pizza, chicken wings and corn dogs on the menu.
