In the role, he will report to commercial director Robert Gibb, who said that the development reflects the importance that Bacta places on social responsibility.

Gibb said: “He will deliver these key services to members and ensure that they remain best in class courtesy of a programme of continual review and enhancement.

“Brad has extensive experience and knowledge in delivering our frontline services as well as a real passion for social responsibility and assisting Bacta members to understand and uphold their compliance requirements and responsibilities in what is a heavily regulated sector.”

Bacta has a history of supporting responsible gambling and was one of the first industry bodies to partner with GamCare, the safer gambling charity founded by Paull Bellringer OBE in 1997.
