Spanish bill validator manufacturer Azkoyen, exhibiting at this year's FER show in Madrid, Spain, will showcase a range of products that meet all the demands of the modern operator.
According to Juan Manual Prieto, Azkoyen sales manager for the Spanish market, the demands of gaming operators and manufacturers are straightforward. "They want the highest level of security, reliability and performance at the best market price they can achieve," he said. "They want compatibility and inter-changeability."
The expectation from manufacturers is for products to continue to evolve and improve to combat fraud and maintain high levels of first-time acceptance of true coins and accurate payout of prizes.
Azkoyen has been one of the premier suppliers of validators in Spain since it developed the first domestic product 60 years ago. Outside of Spain, the company has a significant market share in Italy, especially with its hopper, which has been the standard in the country for some time.
Azkoyen currently supplies 80 per cent of the hoppers to the new Italian AWP sector as well as 20 per cent of coin mechanisms currently in use.
