The Alley Entertainment Centre, a bowling centre in Tasmania, Australia, has reopened following a 10-day installation that featured a raft of upgrades.

The Alley

From March 30-April 10, the entertainment centre was closed as it removed its old AMF 82-90XL pinspotter machines that served the alley over a 30-year period, to replace them with new Brunswick Bowling string pinsetters.

The 14 lanes of bowling were part of the venue’s larger refit as the centre was rebranded to The Alley Entertainment Centre, having formerly been known as Devonport Tenpin Bowl.

Its grand reopening was celebrated with a music event as Sea FM Devonport, a local music station, broadcasted live from the venue while Kitty and the Ringmasters, Hump Entertainment and Cheffa MC performed for the guests.

There are also escape rooms and karaoke for guests to enjoy at the FEC.
